Trích đoạn
We like to believe that our judgments are the product of careful, impartial reasoning. Yet decades of research in cognitive psychology suggest otherwise. We are prone to confirmation bias, seeking out evidence that supports what we already believe and discounting what contradicts it. Paradoxically, intelligence offers little protection; clever people are often simply more skilled at rationalizing their prior convictions.
